Slynnk vs OneGlanse
An open-source (MIT) AI visibility tracker written in TypeScript that you run yourself.
When OneGlanse is the better fit
- You want to self-host, modify the code, or bring your own collection method and keys.
Where Slynnk differs
- Slynnk is a hosted service: collection is run for you, with every engine, intervals on every number, fixes and white-label reports.
- Slynnk started from OneGlanse's code and credits it in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES; the product is not a hosted copy.
- Every number carries its sample size and a 95% likely range, and says whether a change is real or within the normal wobble of AI answers.
- Answers come from what people see where we can: ChatGPT, Gemini and Google are scraped consumer surfaces, each target is labelled, and API and scraped answers are never averaged.
Check before you decide
- Who runs collection and what it costs you
- How answers are collected and from which surface
- Who maintains it
Slynnk's rules for counting are on the methodology page; ask any tool for the same.
