How Slynnk works, in plain words.

What we track, what each number means, how credits work and what agencies get.

The basics

You pick the questions. We ask them to every AI tool, every day, and keep every reply.

Prompt
A prompt is a question like “what is the best CRM for startups?”. We ask it to ChatGPT, Google and the other AI tools every day and record what they say. Prompts that do not name your brand are the most useful: they show whether AI brings you up on its own.
Answer
Each time we ask an AI tool a prompt, we keep its full reply. Every percentage in Slynnk is counted from these stored answers, and you can open any number to read the answers behind it, with your brand highlighted.
Searched the web or answered from memory
AI tools sometimes search the web before replying and sometimes answer from memory. It matters: if the AI searched, getting your content cited can change the answer quickly. If it answered from memory, you are fighting what it already learned.

The numbers

Everything on your dashboard is counted from those stored replies.

Visibility
Visibility is the share of answers that mention your brand. If we collect 100 answers and your brand is named in 40, your visibility is 40%. Prompts that name your brand are left out of this number, because they would make it look better than it is.
Likely range (the yellow bar)
AI never gives the same answer twice, so a percentage from a few answers can be off. The likely range is the span the real figure probably falls in. With few answers it is wide; with many it narrows. If two ranges overlap a lot, there is no clear difference between them.
Real change
Numbers wobble because AI answers vary. We only call a move a real change when it is at least 5 points and clearly bigger than that wobble. Otherwise we say there is no clear change, so you are not chasing noise.
Share of mentions
Count every time any tracked brand is named in the answers. Your share of mentions is how many of those were you. It shows how much of the conversation you own compared with your competitors.
Position
When an AI tool lists several brands, the order matters. Position is the average place your brand holds in those lists, where 1 is the first one named. It is only counted where your brand sits in a list.
Citations
Every time AI cites a website, that is a citation. Your citation share is how many of them point to your own site. A low share means AI is learning about you mostly from other people's pages.
Sources
When AI cites a website, that site shaped the answer. We list every cited site and sort them: yours, a competitor's, review sites, forums and so on. Sites that keep getting cited where you are missing are your best places to get listed.

Credits

Tracking costs credits, and you decide what to track, so you decide what you spend.

Credits
One credit buys one answer: one prompt asked once on one AI tool in one country. A prompt tracked daily on 6 AI tools uses about 180 credits a month. Unused credits do not roll over. Your plan page shows how many you have left.
Starter checks
After you start tracking a prompt, we ask it several times on the first day (3 during a trial, up to 10 on a paid plan). That gives you a real number now, instead of a thin chart that takes weeks to fill. They use credits like any other answer.

For agencies

Work for winning and keeping clients. Each has a monthly allowance on your plan.

Pitch auditComing soon
A pitch audit is a report on a prospect. Enter their website and we ask 10 prompts across every AI tool, 3 times each. You get a PDF in your own branding showing where AI recommends them, and who it recommends instead. It does not use your credits. Agency includes 5 a month and Scale 15.
Page auditComing soon
A page audit looks at a single page. It checks whether AI crawlers are blocked, whether the text is in the page itself or only appears after JavaScript runs (many AI crawlers cannot run it), and whether headings and structured data are in place. Each page you check counts as one.
Fix draftComing soon
When we find a gap, for example a competitor is cited on a “best tools” article and you are not, a fix draft is the work to close it: an email to the author, a reply for a Reddit thread, or the outline of a comparison page. Each links to the evidence behind it. We never send or post anything for you.
White-label reportComing soon
A monthly PDF with your logo and name that says what changed for the client, whether the change is real, and what you are doing next. Clients can also get a read-only link to their own dashboard.
